im more pissed off with mercedes for being cr4p at making proper engines than i am with ferrari, at least MS is fairly modest. but the sport is
undeniably boring now, there were no proper moves in the entire race.
maybe next time i guess. at 4am instead...

Soft spot
I (2nd part of Hellfire) have a softspot for McLaren - but then so do the gremlins so I'm not alone
It doesn't help when McL are not just getting beat but HAMMERED! How can they justify a NF and not even in top 5? I think DC should have gone
last season - all IMHO of course!

yeah, but they did very well last season considering the engine was a reputed 50bhp down on the ferraris. a testament to adrian neweys talents...
as julian says, its a bleak start but you just gotta hope i guess!!!

wont watch another till monaco!
what do you expect to happen - the race is settled in qulaifying - NO ONE overtakes at Monaco.
Remeber the famous time mansell tried 8 laps up senna's a$$ and couldnt get by?
Monaco is a total waste of space kept for the poseur spectacle.
Shu will never go down as the bes driver due to the fact hes got the best machinery. He says 'its for fun' now, nowt more to prove. Ok
then - no more team orders - let barichello fight for the lead. And if its all for fun, leave ferrari and drive for sauber or minardi.
If you can win with a peice o shyte, then you get the best driver of all time accolade.
In 1993 senna won 3 - 4 times with a crap ford engine and NOT the best car. Damon did that fantastic drive in Hungary 1997 with the shyte
Yamaha/arrows - lapping shu in his farrari! Thats what I call a drive. Not lapping all the top drivers cos you have a major Italian industrial concern
backing you, and a team mate in a suster car thats not allowed to race you by a contract term you stipulated.
Schumacher should retire. It would make things interesting again.

At least at Monaco there are no mind numingley boring straights and cotton wool padded run off areas.
And if they have to make one engine last a whole weekend!!!!! then there may be some interestin grid positions!

Schu should do what Rossie has done in GP bikes. Realise that he has the best machine, leave Ferrari and go to a lesser team as sugested above.
Rossie is going to Yamaha and if he is that good, (which he probably is) he will start to win within the year !
I read an article by martin Brundle that sugested that if you put any F1 driver in the top car at any one time, he would be at or very near the
front.
these guys are all supermen in the driving department as regards reactions, 20/20 vision, health and probably combined with madness !
it is as someone pointed out before a matter for the car manufacturers to catch up.
hope they get their S**t together soon or I'm off to the stock car racing again !

if i was MS id join jaguar, BAR or toyota. then there is still a vague chance of getting an OK car. Didnt work for villeneuve though did it! but he
was a triffle cocky when he went to BAR, predicting podeum debuts.

It's amazing how disgruntled people get when a team dominate with technical excellence and a good driver.
I must admit it is becoming somewhat predictable
I even found myself avoiding the race in preference to something else and then just catching up on the inevitable later!
Classic open wheeler is far more exciting!
Also I enjoy the bike racing far more these days.
Ah well!

It's strange when I recount that the most memorable event from last year was that stuffing that buttons walked away from!
