Sending a laptop

I need to send my laptop away to be repaired.

What is the most secure way?

not sure about the most secure way form a theft point of view but for packaging a good strong box and loads of bubblewrap should do the trick

Are you sure you want to send it away though?

repair warning linky

Cheers

dont send it unless you REALLY MUST
most places these days look all through your stuff, laugh at your pics and post them elsewhere

was a story about this not long ago (2 weeks max)

i'd only let someone do stuff with me present

Time for a change!

if you send it special delivery you can upgrade the insurance to £1500-2000 if you need.

Not bothered about porn / photos / privacy issues. It's company laptop and it's going to my IT man, who has full remote access to the network and all files anyway.

Just don't want it getting nicked en-route.

Or trashed.

On the other hand, if it does and I claim compo

I bought one from some one on here and it came smashed to bits.

For the amount of damage it must have been done on purpose.
