just had very first drive....WOW

hello peeps, just had 1st proper drive of my seven, got up at six oclock fitted number plates and onto the road. Glad to say nothing fell off, i didnt crash and even though megasquirt is no where near tuned right, she is very quick indeed , there are a couple of issues - brakes seem to be binding a little, not sure why? cycle wings & brackets bounce around more than expected. Only done 30 miles or so, my eyes were streaming, hands were getting cold and boy she is tail end happy . I think steering rack will need to be changed for quick rack my arms were far too busy. Was surprised at how much heat generated round my feet and legs! All in all well chuffed!!!

Have you got an exhaust silencer fitted? or do you just use large bore pipes and cat? as shown in your photo archive.

Happy Days. Should be even better with it tuned in then.

I drove mine for a bit yesterday, and with the roof on, it gets a bit warm too! - And noisy, as the engine is only abot 6" from my head! Might need to wear ear plugs for any prolonged periods.

Kindest Regards,
Richard.
