OMFG !

I had a bit of a fiddle with my car tonight - I found the other night that the timing wasnt moving as the revs rise , just sitting at 10 degree's `limp home' on the Edis
So......... tonight I had a look inside the megasquirt and found the jumper lead for the Edis had broken off..........two minutes with the soldering iron had that sorted (which of course required a `test` drive.............)
And.............OMFG it's piggin AWESOME !
I think I now have the full fat , super scary , tyre smoking beasty I have allways wanted !
Chilln` now with a JD'n'coke

Its cuz I is blond , innit

don't write OT on a new thread title, you're creating the topic, everything you write is very much ON topic!

Turned out well then. Go for the diet version for a little while then crack open the full fat when you're used to RWD.... Free power upgrade!

Was it running in that mode at Stoneleigh? Remember you not being too happy with your run on the dyno?

It's always had the megasquirt/edis setup , but has never felt `right'
I have been looking at everything , checking everything , re-working everything..........for the last year or so..........but I just assumed the megasquirt was working properly
Having a proper ignition map running sure does make one hell of a difference

I think it was - it made a measly 135 brake on the rollers , around 70 down on what it should have been
I think it now has the missing 70...........maybe more
