179 bids and at just over £5 million pounds.

Pre-approved bidders only so I wonder if the £5 million is legit?

Payment by postal order or bankers draft.

Could I have a postal order please?
Certainly sir, how much for?
£5,000,100 please and 2 tv license stamps.
P!&& off.
Scene two.
I'd like to arrange a loan please.
May I enquire as to the purpose of the loan?
It's for a boring machine.
Well why do you want it then?

I went into the RSPCA office the other day. It was so small you could hardly swing a cat in there.

Steve.

My dearest purchase on ebay is £24. When I get my tunnel started you're not coming in it now

Its silly. How do you ever get pre aproved fro £5mil iff most of the stuff on here is way under that.
Theres a scottish castle for £2mill (approx) on USebay and thats with 240 acres.
Whats the highest sale ebay has had, and how did the guy get preaproval?

--Edit Add--

Do you think anyone will notice if I connect the two Chunnels together so they go in a loop. That will save our problems. No imagrants and no french! C'est magifique!

IIRC one of these was for sale soon after the tunnel was complete, the asking price was £1!!!

I wonder if this is the same one and no one was willing to cough up a quid for it when it was 10 years younger?!

It's back down to a more respectable £22,000.

Looks like ebay have been doing the rounds, lots of 'Administrative Cancellations' and lots of cancelled accounts.
