glass's guide

Has anybody got access to an up to date Glass's guide?
As trying to find Main dealer retail price of a
Hyundai Tucson Xenith on an 07 plate 26.000mls
and also
Honda Civic 1.6 vtec sport hatchback on an 04
plate 40.000mls trade in
Have looked at free price guides on internet and
they seem to be a lot different to what dealer is coming up with

If you can wait until Thursday (off to Berlin for three days) i'll be able to do that for you as I work at a car dealership.

There's a free Glass' valuation on the Vauxhall.co.uk site, click on finance, value your car.

It only gives trade-in prices though, so no good for the retail price you're after..

Cant you just look on autotrader at similar spec cars to see what they go for?

I would say the dealer retail price is the easy bit,you don't need a glass's guide price for that, just check what price other dealers are selling the car you are looking at for.
So a quick look through the Autotrader, one dealer has a Hyundai Tucson Xenith on an 07 plate 26.000mls for £13995,another has the same car on 08 plate with 14.000mls for £13495,so the 07 one must be over priced by at least £2000 in my opinion.
As for your trade in thats a bit more difficult, but I would say a dealer would value your car around £4500/£5000 in trade in on the Tucson, but at the end of the day its how much the difference is going to cost you to swap,if your not happy, shop round for the best deal, its a buyers market.
