It's for all the services, not just the RAF.

When I returned from Gulf 1 I was really peed off as I stepped onto the tarmac to see a Tristar and knowing that there was no beer onboard having heard of the parties on board the BA, KLM flights also taking troops home, much to my amazement after we had taken off the crew came out with 2 cans per person, bought for us by the pilot, I have donated.
