OT: Electric heating

Hi Guys,

knowing the vast amountof knowlage on here I thought it was worth an ask. I have ended up with a flat with electric storage heaters (crap) and cant pull the floor up to install underfloor heating does anyone have any recomendations for a good electric heating solution (preferably modular) I was thinking electric oil fill radiators?

any suggestions welcome

Cheers
Paul

In the past I've use just about all types and in the current house used these remote controlled electric wall heaters -

linky

It’s an extremely flexible system which is totally maintenance free and very accurate. Each heater can be set to receive a particular programmable wall thermostat and you can have more than one thermostat in the house, I have 3 controlling 14 heaters. Compared to all the hassle I've had with gas and coal central heating this is bliss

this is the supplier I dealt with and they were not problem at all

Have you looked at Air Source Heatpumps? If you have somewhere externally to mount it... the one we have is pretty good!

Also you can have traditional wet system radiators, heated via an electric boiler, have installed 3 of these systems this year......they have been pretty good!
