"OMG

the Gift
is perfect for sorting out your left and right speaker channels! ... since the music comes out the R, and speaking from the L.
I had wired up so that the mid/bass was L and tweeter were R.
... and it was like that for a good 6 months. I did wonder why Pink Ployd, Pulse did not have the walking from speaker to speaker as on DSotM.

balance control - will make one channel louder, it will not correct for incorrectly wired speakers.

hmm but I thought if you put it to L then only the left side of the recording would play and thats how you'd know what speaker to connect to if
it wasn't marked?

yep
ah but then he had bass and mids wired to L and the highs to the R (or something) so it maybe wouldn't be quite that clear

don't write OT on a new thread title, you're creating the topic, everything you write is very much ON topic!

I am bi-amping - speakers are bi-wireable hence can be separated into 2: tweeter (HF) and mid/bass (LF).
