New sky + box

Hi all my Mum & Dad are getting a sky + box on Wednesday and i was just wondering if the fitters remove / take the old sky card or is it used in the + box

I should have said there going from a sky box to a sky + box

no expert but i would of thought if it was one of the old cards then you would get a new one while they are at it if its a new card they would just pair it up with the new box

I thought if it was more than a year old it was yours ( the box and the card) as long as youy pay your subscription you could use it in another room ( LNB setup etc allowing)





If it looks wrong it probably is wrong.

You keep the old box, and the card goes in the new box.
I used the old box as a freeview box upstairs.

Hi m8, as a sky engineer i can defo confirm old card goes into new sky+ box, old sky box is your property can you can do as you wish with it.
