Should I or Should I NOT?

Need to cut my desk so i can put it in the car to take it for recycling.

Now, I have a Jigsaw which will make my life easier but:

I only have some HSS blades for steel.

Should i use these? or Do i need to buy new ones to cut it off?

I use metal blades for wood all the time when I can't be arsed to change blades Takes a lot longer though. For a desk I'd use a decent hand saw

you can use the HSS blades, but they will get very hot, clog up and be quite slow in comparison to dedicated wood blades.

personally i would use an old fashioned hardpoint handsaw.

I'd not bother with the car, the van's much bigger. How about Freecycle?

Well, the desk is 80cm wide, 1.8m long and 2cm thick.

This could well be my option.

Your cock shouldn't have any feet

If you're going to freecycle why not just ebay it yourself and pocket the money?

Have seen a few people take things off freecycle and then the exact same item's on ebay the same day
