Sounds a lot like this.
My red flags are sticking up though. If it was me I would ignore it, or check with PayPal directly instead of using that link.

A very important thing to note when getting these mails - just because the address looks correct, doesn't mean it is - the link
'text' can be anything you want and completely different to where the link will actually take you

Todays was send $275 for us to re-deliver a package, containing a bank card, with access to $700K, they found out what it was during re-packaging....

I didnt even bother checking with Paypal directly - it was sooooo poor. As said - the spelling errors give the game away so easily you'd have
thought any self respecting Nigerian scammer would get a proper spell-checker!!

Its a shame as the saying there is one born every day or the fact that there are a lot of very vulnerable people without a great understanding of
computers, the internet or scams means they only have to be successful in 1 in a 1000 mails or less to make a fortune. Beleiev it or not the most
successful phishing scam in terms of amount of money embessled is.. wait for it...
The Nigerian oil scam (and other national variants of it)
Dear Mrs Bloggs.. I was an oil minister in Nigeria bl bla bla and I have 15 million dollars that went missing and I cant let it show so I want YOU to
give me your bank details so I can put it in your bank and for helping me you can keep 10% of it"
YES!! the most successful and yet to you maybe the most obvious con. They just work on numbers. If sent out to a list of 10 million emails thats a lot
of poor people who will lose their money and have identity used to further ruin them.
You have to feel sorry for someone who just doesn't know how it works. I can understand why a vulnerable person would varify their paypal
details if they thought they were going to lose their money if they don't.Look after the people you know with good advice. It took me a while to
have my parents think in an aware and sceptical way about internet contacts asking for info. Its not just the greedy dumbasses that lose it all
Chris.

Well pointed out Bilbo but it's not in this case - The address posted is not masked and it links to the same address is should do.

I got that exact one today too (I get them quite often)
the link looks good and looks like just text - but when you hover over it its going to some other doggy address (if you hover the mouse over a link,
IE displays the actual address in the bottom left corner)
however they did it - its not copied across when you posted it here.....

extra "/" at the start so as to not create an active link)
