Looking for a flat with plenty of workshop space?

If external aesthetics don't bother you, how cool are these?

ETA - Totally NTDWM, just been investigating Live/Work Units as a muse.

Nice. Very nice in fact. There's loads of that type of thing over here as a lot of small business people choose to combine their homes and their places of work.

Planning and stuff here is much more, er, relaxed than in the UK.

Ideal for a small start up company, in fact it's kinda tempting!

Indeed, if only I had something to start-up.

very vaguely been looking at moving. Between the g/f and I we've got a list of next house 'musts'. Mine being double garage. Found a property that i'd be prepared to compromise and accept a single garage. G/f disagreed. She wants 4 bedrooms and this place only had three. I pointed out my compromise on the garage and she pointed out a barn twice the size of the house isn't a 'SINGLE' garage

Hmm, the old co-op milk delivery depot round here is for sale, nice offices to turn into a home and a massive garage that originally housed dozens of electric milk floats.... very tempted I am

my mate lives in an industrial unit. Just fitted out one part inside as a flat. Onsite security dont mind because its another pair of eyes, and he loves messing with his fleet - about 11 cars!
