I want an R6 on the cheap!
Should be taking my DAS very soon, and am set on an R6, preferably a post 2003 (injection) but anything >2000 still looks good...
Trouble is, I want to spend an absolute minimum - if this means fixing a damaged repairable or rebuilding one from parts i'm totally game....
Any good ways to do this/places to look? I'm very wary of these "no frame/engine number track only freshly stolen" jobbies...
What's my realistic budget?
James

Worth talking to Malc (Yorkshire Engines)
Since he buys his engines from low mileage write-offs he should have the contacts at some reputable companies. It's not like you'll be
competing for an engine as an R6 is too small for a car.
As it's so easy to write-off a bike with just a bit of body damage you should be able to get something for a good price.
