was doing the old cant get my mask under the wheel arch so shut the eyes quick welding style.only myself to blame,but as a said i've got away with it for over 10 years but never again!

Hope it heals quick and the pain subsides rapidly

Been there also got the 3rd degree t shirt and shorts marks as well

When I was 19 I bought a welder from b&q thinking it cant be that hard. Burnt the floor out of an old mini but best of all it was a really hot day so overall sleeves rolled up to my armpits neck open to the waist and no mask.. doh. Didn't even know you could get burnt.

That night when I couldn't open my eyes I could only feel the sheets of skin peeling off my body and how wet it was.

I managed to get a lift to the hospital the next morning where I received a welding lecture

Hope you feel better soon. In the mean time have fun playing with the flashy patterns inside your head

lol,tig welding inside a stainless tank is always good for the tan!
