You need at a minimum a 50l tank a 2hp plus motor capable of 9cfm plus. Dont just think spraying also think about using it for air toos impact
wrenches, DA sanders etc which take some air usage

+1 always get the best you can. you'll only end up swapping it in a year when you get frustrated with its limited useability.

i got a 1.5hp 25l compressor from Aldi - its a nice compressor but not man enough for most jobs.
Got a 2hp 25l compressor from them later on, this is better and if i need it i run them both at the same time (well i will if i find the need, problem
is i need to run a separate extension into the garage and can't be bothered most of the time).

I would say a 2hp is marginal for spraying. I have a 3hp, and that only just about keeps up. Only a 50L tank...
Also, belt drive is nice and compared to direct, much much quiter in use. You never know, a good s/h one my be just round the corner.............
