Anyone want a free computer game?

Hi there,

I just bought the HD Monkey Island 2 remake on steam (awesome) and they kindly gave me the HD Monkey Island 1 remake (also awesome) for free! I've already got it though, so I can gift it to somebody else.

Old school Lucasarts point and click adventure with pirates - what more can you want. All redone in HD graphics and new music (though you can switch to the original graphics/sound on the fly - wow 320x240 looks like a tiled mosaic on a modern monitor!).

Anyone want it? You'll have to sign up for a steam account if you haven't already, but that's free/no hassle.

Liam

Guybrush Threepwood, memories..

Nowadays I play Steam, but usually TF2 and stuff, dunno whether I'd have the patience to play monkey island again

Bit old for TF2 aren't you UncleFista? You should graduate to Total War Empires.

What ? Too old ? I'm only 40 !

Oh yeah, see what you mean

I've been playing TeamFortress since 1997 with Quakeworld, it's such a laugh

I hit my gaming zenith with Quake2 (played in a clan in the UKCCL league) and it's been downhill since.
I've replaced quick reactions with experience, but I'm usually top or thereabouts on the servers

Have you played the "new" TF2 ? It's funny

I play as almost all classes, but I'm usually a Soldier

Huh, Quake 2 johnny come latelys!

Quake 1 was where it was at!

I played in the the Q1 UKCL as well for about a season!

nQuake is a slightly enhanced version, but you will need some files form the original to enjoy it.

As I said, I played TeamFortress in 1997 on Quakeworld (Quake1) in software mode because the Voodoo 1 3d card wasn't even around back then, never mind being able to afford one !

Anyway, Quake 1 ? Try Doom, it's where I started (on the PC)[1]

[1] Atari 2600, ZX81 etc. not included
