Blocking single nuisance number

As the title, someone tells me that you can block one nuisance caller’s number by press keys on your hand set in a particle order.
Anyone know how please?

Maybe assign a silent ring tone to it??
That way even if it goes through, you won´t listen.

You can ask BT to block specific numbers but it cost. Also you can ask them to Block your out going caller ID if you require. I had mine blocked so my work could not call me at home as everone had Caller ID at there desk and I didn;t want my home number to become public knowledge.

If its a company (or even if its not) I strongly suggest going onto ex-directory. My Dad did it when I was at home and we very rarely got a salesman calling. If they did we just asked where did you get our number we are ex directory. They always hung up quicker than we could!!

I did it the day we moved in and not had a cold sales call in five years!
