importing a motorcycle
a mate of mine is thinking of bidding on a motorcycle on ebay from the usa, its the first time hes done anything like this .... as anyone any idea on
the cost of any import duty, if the bike is sent in bits does this effect any import tax .... what cost of shipping is he looking at .... the bike
weighs 250kilos ??? ..... one of the bikes is in florida ..... any help gratefully received

All the information you need on import duty etc at the
Government website
Or contact someone like AP Motorcycles aka Californian Connections, they may be able to bring it over in one of their shipments.

depends which way you go... alaska and russia are quite close, then its all land

thanks for the information guys ..... the bike hes after is a Honda cr250 Elsinore 1973/74 ..... he races in some classic bike series .. if anyone has
one in the shed they don't want
