Weather rant

Dont know bout you guys but this weathers really getting me down.
July we were told it was going to be really nice same for August but you look out of the window and it looks like November.
Plus business is cr@p which wouldnt be so bad if the sun was on your back.
What really gets my goat is when it was good in June I was refurbing the bathroom so never got to get out and enjoy it.
I think they should shut the entire country move us all to somewhere warmer and turn it into a bird sanctuary.
Cheers,
Bob

Weather's more miserable here than a 3-time IVA failure! (God forbid there is ever one of those!)

Rained like a Bar Steward yesterday and it's grizzely and grey today too

Still, at least I can't say it's stopping me going out in the car, it's the lack of completeness that's stopping me doing that

You should try living on Dartmoor. We have three types of weather here, fog, rain or fog and rain! I have heard the sun still exists but it's a bit like God, there is no actual proof of this and many people no longer believe!

We've had 40days/40nights since StSwithens day and it rained at some point on all of them here. That ended yesterday and it's not rained since. Not exactly glorious but it's dry. We did get all April, all but 5 days of May, all June and the first 10days of July without rain though.

I got home last night and the house felt cold and damp - I ended up lighting the wood-burner! Why am I burning my winter stock of wood in August?

Nice though - opened the living room doors and let the warmth go through the house. Nowhere ended up really warm, apart from a radius round the stove itself, but it took the slight chill out of the house.

Pls don't get me started.

Got back from Greece on Sunday. A good 38-41 degrees.

Half way through last night, i had to unpack the duvet otherwise it would be heating on.

I have been here for 5 days now and regret all of them.

Why's that then? You got stranded away from home due to floods and the only clothes you have are the shorts and sandals you had on when you got caught a couple of days ago

Edited to replace flip-flops with sandals
