Lcd tv repair

I have a 10 inch lcd tv i use for camping which now has a broken screen following something being dropped onto the screen during the recent weekend trip.
Does anyone know if this can be repaired or do i bin it.

Going on the cost of LCD screens for laptops, I reckon it would probably be almost as much for a new screen as for a new TV, certainly for a small size.

I had a £129.99 monitor where the bulb went... £265 to replace the bulb!

£199 for a new 22" monitor with double club card points

we regularly get people asking for CCFL lamps for screens, explain that minimum spend would mean they have to have 5 lamps, they usually baulk then realise that they get 5 for £30ish

most then sell them on and recoup costs LOL

if you can fix it yourself its a nice feeling, and not to mention far cheaper

heavy is good, heavy is reliable, and if it breaks, hit them with it
