Runners, recommend me shoe?
Hi, looking to get a bit fitter and loose a few pound so going to take up running. I need a support shoe because i pronate and something suitable for
a heavier person (96kg's or 15 1/2 stone).
Cheers,
Steve.

Most specialist running shops will get you on a treadmill, analyse your stride and make recommendations acordingley. Some may even offer a "test
run" in a number of pairs.
This is the only way to get a good pair of shoes that really work for you.
Having done a marathon and a few half marathons getting a good shoe is the most important thing you can do, especially if you want to avoid injury.
Go see the experts, I strongly recommend it.

Absolutely!!! It's too personal a thing to recommend and if you're serious needs the input of an experienced/trained sports shop

Just as everyone else has said. Get yourself down to a specialist running shop and get assessed. I also pronate and have wide feet. Asics were the
only shoe I could get comfortable in, they do a wider(2e) fitting. I've got the GT-2150 and use them mainly on the treadmill and have covered
over 90 miles with no problems.

He didn't, he's 7foot 3 so presumes everyone's shorter than him
