Grinderman with Nick Cave

Did anybody else see them on Later with Jools Holland? Thought they were superb, really grimy and that leader guitarist was excellent.

Anyway, just got tickets to see them at the Coronet in London on Saturday night, so if anybody else fancies it there are some tickets left still.

BTW - saw Nick Cave in my local Indian a few weeks ago, I think he lives in Hove ...

Here's the video:

I heard some in HMV the other day and thought "That sounds good, sounds like Nick Cave" - then they anounced it was a Grinderman track.

A few years back he was on a flight (I forget to where) one Valentine's Day (or thereabouts).

He very kindly signed the passenger manifest for my wife who gave it to me as a present!

Top man is Mr Cave, though less of a hellraiser these days

Should be a good gig, enjoy....

I'll let you know!

Chatting to a mate over curry last night, he sees him all the time as he lives in the next street in Hove, last time he was in the queue for Starbucks and he apologised for his sons behaviour to my mate! Very nice guy apparently....

Man, that was one INCREDIBLE gig, worth battling through the monsoon weather for sure. One of the best gigs I've been to in a very long time, so much raw energy and musical talent. Warren, the lead guitarist is something else again, proper old school rocker ... and Nick certainly hasn't slowed down any. Proper dirty rock, the final song - Grinderman - was really like the Doors, in fact the whole thing was like a cross between Bauhaus and the Doors, proper psychedelic rock / punk.

If you wanna see some of it from that night, check out Youtube:
