eBay Mugs
How do people expect to get away with it when they send you an item that is vastly different to the description.
I've just received a tool described as "New - other" and it looks like it first saw service on the Titanic and has been recovered
from the sea bed.
Needless to say it'll be going back. It was a buy it now so surely they need to pay me the postage first?
Makes my blood boil - I've sold a large number of items and all have been fine.

very annoying but it happens. I reckon I've got about a 3-4% failure rate when there are problems.
I've just come to accept it and build it in as a risk into the price I'm willing to pay.
On the plus side, I've found there are a lot of sellers that will go far out of their way to fix it for you!
On the minus side, I was sent the wrong video card 2 weeks ago, and apparently it never made it back to the seller when I returned it. Lesson:
there's never a good time for your first "I won't send it recorded.. nothing ever gets lost" - And make sure you keep your
receipt!

If you file a Paypal complaint and you win the seller has to reimburse the buy it now and postage costs that you paid but, unfortunately, you will
have to stand the cost of return postage I'm afraid.

That's according to ebay rules. The Law on the other hand, clearly states that the vendor has to reimburse the buyer for ALL costs, including
return postage costs,, when the item is not as described. Sale of Goods Act.
Tell them about the bent treacle edges!
