Boiler woe's
After having a new boiler fitted two years ago, and having it regularly serviced, it decided to pack in last night. So I now have the space heater
from the garage trying (without much luck) to keep the family abit warm
Still, hopefully the gas plumber man will be here soon and wave his magic wand over it.

Gas man's coming to service ours tomorrow for the first time since he fitted it 4 years ago - I feel rather slack for not having kept on top of
it!
Hope you keep warm!

Ours broke down the week we had the really bad snow. The day the engineer was due to come was the wednesday when the snow fell really bad around
lincolnshire, so he couldnt come as everyone was snowed in. In the end we was without Hot water, or central heating for 11 days
Luckily we have an open fire in the lounge, and an electric shower, else we'd have had to move in with someone else due to how cold it was. you
could see your breath misting up when you was breathing, and the bathroom was premanently wet due to the room being cold, and the hot mist from the
shower. The towels wouldnt dry out properly.
When the engineers came (it was a 2 man job to replace the heat exchanger) one of them asked if he could use the bathroom.
He came back down stairs and came out with: "Its surprising how cold a house can get.." NO s**t!! we'd been like that for 11
days..
