Whisky problem
Major dilemma ……
Just bought two bottles of whisky, one for a present and one for myself. The problem now is I can not decide which one to keep for myself and which to
give away!!!!!!!
Ardbeg Airigh Nam Beist
Laphroaig 15 Year old
Which do I keep. ( and no I can’t have both )

Have you tasted either in the past? If so, then keep your favourite of the two... simple!
If not, then it's worth noting that the Laphroaig has a VERY distinctive and strong taste! You will either love it or loath it!

Have had both Ardberg and Laphroaig before and like them both equally. But not these two perticular bottles..Both are now either out of production or
about to be phased out.

I'd only be giving a bottle of either to someone who'd insist on drinking it with me so either would be OK

buy them a bottle of grouse, and keep both the other 2
I'd love to give my imaginary friend a great big hug,
but this jacket makes it impossible.

Keep them both and buy a bottle of Bells for the present... I would. Both are too good to give away.
I also tried a different one this year, Highland Park, and its very smooth.
Although I do prefer the handfull of peat in yer Gob types like Laphoraig and other similar makes.
Good health,
And..... dont drink and drive.... These whiskeys are just TOO GOOD to spill them!

I have 71 single malts that I now can't drink due to a conflict with the drugs I have to take.
I eat to survive
I drink to forget
I breath to pi55 my ex wife off (and now my ex partner)

I'd just give one of them to someone who likes to share! I'd want to have a goodly amount of both.... Although at the moment I'm out
of quality so on the Jamesons gutrot (admittidly a present from someone).... which I'm scarily coming to quite like...
Worst thing in the world (shortly before the clap) is taking a good bottle of wine to a dinner party and then getting served blossom hill
Only trick is to take something ready decanted and make it obvious that you expect to take the decanter back at the end of the evening!
