WLM Kazaa Users
Does anybody who goes to Newlands use Kazaa, if so could you tell me if there is copy of 'HQ-GM2 Edirol HQ HyperCanvas Software Synth' on
there.
Kazaa scares me so I dont go there ,but if I could get a copy of this software on CD I would be willing to pay £10.00.........

P.S. Did you know that Virtual sound canvas and a whole other bundle of virtual synths is bundled with Cakewalk Sonar ?
I may possible have a backup of this

Got a few 'hypercanvas' downloads going - all seem to say VSTi and DXi - dunno what that means!
Anyway, if they download (not guaranteed!) I'll bung them on a CD and bring them to Newlands.

Sonar is a very very good thing indeed.
It has a whole load of bundled plugins and you can add 3rd party DXi plugins as well. My favourites are some analogue compressors and of course
Antares Autotune.
As well as that, you can draw envelopes on each track - audio as well as midi - which allows you to automate most functions. The really cool thing
about this is that it gives you flying faders. Just like an SSL desk.
Cakewalk Sonar is a truly magnificent product.
Let me know if you would like to trial it .
P.S. Hypercanvas now incoming via e-mule

Have you had a look at this forum CM/FM .It's definately the place to be if you make music on your PC.
I've been hanging out there for a while as DrF. Don't mention Kazaa or wares as you will start off WW3. They tend to get a bit upset but I
bet most of them are at it, especially when you read some of their questions.

Open?
Let me suggest "open" as an alternative. Planet CCRMA for Redhat Linux with Ardour and stuff, I don't use it myself but it's
looking very impressive.
