Cordless phone recommendations?
Evening all - I have a pair of BT HomeHub phones and while the HomeHub is great....the phones are just awful!!
They have the "feature" of ringing and when you press answer they reset! Nice....
Does anyone have any ones to recommend? Not too keen on BT handsets now - these ones are only a year or so old and always keen just crappity!
A pair would be handy and budget is pre pay day.....none existant!
Thanks guys

I got a set of Siemens 'Gigaset' cordless phones from Comet at a reasonable price.
Work well, nice keypad, easy-to-read-and-understand multi-colour display. Oh - also has a digital answerphone (memory, not tape).

None
Most of the ones I've had are either kerrap or the battery is, which is great when you're on hold for 10 mins and the battery lasts 5.
Also someone picks it up and then puts it down in place unknown so we just have a corded one.

Although we have a Siemens one, we also liked the look and feel of the Panasonic ones. Both have a 'good mobile phone' feel to them,
rather than the flabby, nasty feel of the BT ones.
I think our decision came down to the price in the end... the Siemens was a bit cheaper.

As an aside, it was recommended by the local fire service to have at least one coded phone, as in the event of a fire cordless phones may not work.
