Software required, where from?
Ok, my recent experience with scrap metal (it wasn't srap. but they took it nyway) has renewed my need to repair my cctv system, basic as it
is.
Problem is the PC is kaput and needs a format C: job but I cant find the driver disc for the cctv pci card.
These cards look fairly generic as theres tons of them on the bay like 4CH CCTV DVR PCI REAL TIME CARD 50/60fps+BNC FOR CAMERA |
eBay UK
store one.
Can anyone point me to an online resource where I can download the software?
That way I can spend the cash on better night time cameras

on the card will be a load of numbers
post them and i will try and help
if you cant find them, goto device manager on the pc, then the 'unknown device' (your cctv card), right click properties, click on details
and post the hardware ID's

These cards are china clones of the real deal and aren't the best I'm afraid. The software that comes with them is an unofficial cracked
release of the genuine article. I bought one a few years back and may have the driver/software disc.
These may work - I had some success using other generic software/drivers...

I'll see if I can dig my disc out and email you the software and drivers.

Software wise, I'd recommend Zoneminder. It's Linux based, but don't let that put you off as there is a live CD available (just pop
it in and it does the rest).
