Nearest Fuel to Eurotunnel
Does anybody know where the nearest fuel station is before the entrance to the Eurotunnel (UK side). It's probably been about 4 years since I
was last there and I remember there was no fuel station when we last arrived there.

Hi,
There is a service station at the exit before the tunnel, but I would consider using junction 9 there is a Sainsbury's there or Junction 10 and
there is a Tescos there.

get it when you come out the other side at cite europe its loads loads cheaper. come out of the french side onto the a16 (its the road it forces you
on to) take the first exit and its underground in the car park. really easy to find.

Is that Junction 11 then? Not too bothered about the price of fuel but would prefer the nearest (company fuel card )

The nearest one is the motorway service station situated on J11 takes most fuel cards but is 4p/L more than the nearest garage.
Otherwise go past 11A (Chunnel) come off at J12 turn right and BP on left 300 yards..... back on motorway and up to J11 turn round and come back to
11A as no westbound exit to Chunnel. However its only a few Km between the junctions.

I can't answer specifically for Cité Europe, but I was in France 2 weeks ago and unleaded was €1.60+ a litre...
Just googled and found an AA monthly report here which reckons that the
average price of unleaded in SE England is 137.1p/litre, supermarkets 134.6p/litre and France €1.64/litre or 143.91p/litre, so France on average would
be 6-10p/litre more expensive...
