Rebate Kit - Interior French Doors

Can anyone explain how to fit the tubular latch into interior french doors?

I've got 2 pairs which I've hung and they have a 13mm rebate in the centre so they meet nicely.

I've bought a rebate kit, which consists of a catch with a return on it and an ally spacer.

I'm assuming the spacer goes under half of the tubular latch to get it to sit flush with the outermost part of the active door, and the catch is sunk into the passive door so it sits flush with the innermost part of the rebate. Is this right?

The part I'm scratching my head about is the ally spacer is nowhere near the right size to fit any of the tubular latches I've got here, do I need a special one? (latch), if so, from where?

Cheers

I had to click this to see what it meant... I thought it was going to be about a discount/trade-in scheme

Can't help with the real question, though - sorry!

Basically the doors meet like this when viewed from above:

and I've bought this:

CHROME LATCH CONVERSION REBATE KIT GREAT VALUE | eBay

but it doesn't fit the latch I've got, I think I can just buy a compatible latch but wanted to be clear on the fitting of it too with regards to the latch being placed on the spacer and the catch being buried into the shallower bit of the door
