A view on Ultimta's !!

Had to share this- was at Halfords emporium of tat last night, and an Ultima was parked in the car park
spoke to the bloke, and he's had it seven years, and done 44,000 miles in it!!!
Was mightily impressed, never gone wrong, nothings ever fallen off or broken.

And it sounded fantatic as he caned it out of the carpark!!

They are wonderful machines and I want one

Those V8s run for ever even in high states of tune and everything about the kit just oozes quality.
I've not driven one but the ride is meant to be surprisingly compliant on the road making it an viable everyday proposition. No less practical than say an MR2 or Elise.

Ned - you'll have to get behind me in the queue for the Stratos .... I know the Ultima is a superb piece of kit, but I do think the looks are a little on the dull side - much rather have the Stratos or GT40 - but them maybe I'm just a bit of a retro-head

I'd be happy with either the Ultima or Stratos - but preferably both. Me, greedy? Never
