Sometimes automatic programs send out nonsense emails to every email address it can generate. If you reply asking what the hell they're on about, that just confirms that the address exists and is being used, so it goes onto a mailing list and you get HEAPS of crap.

Best to delete as you did!

Most likely he's confusing you with the Scottish 400m athlete David Jenkins from a few years back, think he got involved in steroid trafficing after he retired. Unless you are he.

Apart from the runner, I could be:

The Bishop of Durham
A figure skater
A playwright
A professor (in various universities)
(after doing a search on Google)

I lead a busy life...
