Now that's just plain depressing.

Our best chance is that they get themselves in a hyper-inflation spiral and screw up.

However, their advantage is an unelected government who can do whatever they please to get the desired results without having to worry about public opinion ,a la Machiavelli. Nice bit of municipal corruption mingled with absolute power.

And we go and mush Iraq so they can have democracy. <Tuts>

Pray that trade unions get a toehold, they'll start asking for huge wage increases and the rest of the planet might get a look-in again!
