We moved into a new house on Thursday. This morning I was out in the dark trying to shore up the fence with bits of wood. Eventually I had to pull down one panel before it went through the window!

I then watched as two pains of glass flew out of the greenhouse!

To stop any more damage to the greenhouse, I then had to go out and tape some cardboard over the hole! I made sure I put my crash helmet on before I went out, I must have looked a right tw*t, but I felt safer!

It's certainly helped me find all the 'gaps' around the doors and laminate flooring in this 100 year old house.

Not checked the roof yet, too scared !!

Been a bit windy, odd shower of rain, sunny today.

There are some compensations to living in East Anglia! (driest part of Britain). Typical climate is 'king 'ot in Summer with a drought, then 'king cold in Winter with a steady icy wind (I live 5 miles from the coast - next bit of land to the North and East is on the other side of the North Sea).
