Cheap holiday in France anyone.

Dont know the best place to put this so I'll stick it here.
To help fund my barn conversion Ive decided to let out my farmhouse in France.

Its situated in the south-west midway between Poitiers and Limoge about 1/2 hours drive from Cognac and 1 1/2 hours from La Rochelle.

If your looking for an Ibiza type holiday forget it its pure chill out in some lovely countryside.

The house is in a hamlet of 6 houses 15 minutes walk from the nearest village,10 minutes drive from a larger village on the river Charente with pedaloes an outdoor pool, crazy golf etc.

Theres an above ground swimming pool, fridge, washing machine, microwave etc and will sleep 6 comfortably 8 at a push using a bed settee.

I was looking at £250 a week during August £200 a week at any other time.

If you book a crossing with eurotunnel before 31st Jan it'll cost you £98 so would be an extremely cheap holiday. The house is a 6 1/2 drive from Calais with a couple of rest stops.

If your interested or want to know more u2u me.I'll put some photo's of the house in my photo archive tomorrow.
Cheers,
Bob

People would probably shout at me a lot for saying this, (sorry DaveFJ), but from your description I think your weekly charges are far too low! I reacon that you could easily have the prices (especially the july/august months) quite a bit higher!

I'm only saying this to help you fund a great locost build (if you havn't already got one)

Cheers (and sorry again!)

Andy

Hear what your saying Andy and I know your right but theres a couple of points a; I dont normally let it so theres no maid service, laundry etc you have to take your own sheets, towels etc and give the place a sweep out as you leave ready for the next guys, thats if Im not visiting in between and b; I would normally let it out only family and friends who'd look after it,which all you guys on here would wouldnt you.

Having trouble upping the pics they were on my office PC burnt em to a disk, never bothered checking the disc and this machine aint seeing em so might be tomorrow now but I'll post after Ive upped em.

Its the barn conversion in France that needs help funding Andy the locosts nearly finished
Cheers,
Bob
