Tell you what - I may even get one!

This is the sort of thing I would have used when little b*****ds threw a wall brick at my car on November the 4th (mischevous night). If I'd have been travelling any faster it would have gone through the window and hit either the missus or the kids... I stopped got out the car and saw about 30+ teenagers looking menacingly at me. Got in the car, phoned the cops and drove off. Now I have a £500 repair bill!!!! T***S

I have a Barnett Cobra, one up from the widow (its got an arm brace rather than a wrist brace so you can get a better pull on it). One hell of a catapult i can tell you! Dead accurate too. Puts those 8mm steel BB's through beer cans at 10yds easy enough.

Some of the Barnett cross bows are accurate to 60yds...

Strike 9

You don't want to be messing with a brace if you're up a pole . If you use the .38 shot you will kill someone though, they are fatal to rodents which is what some of these lowlifes are.

yours, Pete

I went into the RSPCA office the other day. It was so small you could hardly swing a cat in there.

yup, the good old "Barnett Black Widow", had one in my teens. We used to go up the old railway line behind where we lived and shoot holes in cans, bottles, or whatever we could find. We used to find marbles were the best (and cheapest) ammo we could get without being asked too many questions. Pete's right though you could kill someone very easily with one of those.

Wish the equipment was up the pole but our lot bury everything in pits and street cabs. The scum trash a box = service outage = callout. Then you repair the damage and they trash it again......The trouble comes when you are on the site of the damage and the start using you as targets. We called the cops out a hundred times and they "dinny gi a s***"
We had the cops out for a muppet with a pellet gun that had a few shots at us..........

I still have my old (refurbished several times over) Milbro catty pult.
1/4" rubber with Leather pouch. (Old style) Mini CV joint Ball bearings are pretty good up to about 100 yards. Lethal at 25 yards!!.

Its also 36 years old and still in fine fettle.
not like its owner... 52 and falling apart!

Mines a TSL

aluminium straddle with 1/4" black elastic. It's been modernised with some tiewraps because you can't get shotwire any more to hold the pouch on. I do have a Black Widow with powerbands though.
