Xmas is coming! Any good book recommendatiions?

As per title, looking for books for my Xmas list - any recommendations, non fiction, cars, motor racing, biographies of anyone interesting (read one of Ranulph Fiennes last year - amazing & he's raving bonkers!)

I no longer run Furore Products or Furore Cars Ltd, but would still highly recommend them for Acewell dashes, projector headlights, dominator headlights, indicators, mirrors etc, best prices in the UK! Take a look at http://www.furoreproducts.co.uk/ or find more parts on Ebay, user names furoreltd & furoreproducts, discounts available for LCB users.
Don't forget Stainless Steel Braided brake hoses, made to your exact requirements in any of around 16 colours. http://shop.ebay.co.uk/furoreproducts/m.html?_dmd=1&_ipg=50&_sop=12&_rdc=1

Not The End Of The World

Fact not fiction

An interesting take on the shape the planet is in.

Just as a matter of interest, did you find this biased towards climate change denial, biased the other way or fairly impartial?

Another vote for the Blunt End of the Grid. It had a few laugh out load moments for me and very relevant to car builders/kit enthusiasts/grass roots motorsport people. Also supporting the writer who is a bloke like us.

Not climate change denial.

Some "realism" (facts/figures) on human/planetary progress and sometimes misplaced media hype.

these two in the pop science space -

A brief history of almost everyone who everlived - Dr Adam Rutherford

How to make the world add up - Tim Harford

both good books and both provide a good sound basis for looking at the world without so much hype
