Tube all the way - if they change the pack that'll mean the end of firing the cap at people by hitting the tube

The moron that decided to change the shape should be stuffed with either a tube or a hexagon. His choice !

I like the tube......Way back the South African smarties had a long box. They used to make a mess if you left the box sitting on the seat in a hot
car in the sun. Now if we had had a tube then the mess eould have been contained and I wouldnt have got thrashed by the old man...

Too right. Keeps the kids quiet for hours after they've eaten the contents.

Just as a side note did you know the dye on the red smarties is made from the crushed bodies of beetles?
mmmmmmmm............
Normal is getting dressed in clothes that you buy for work and driving through traffic in a
car that you are still paying for - in order to get to the job you need to pay for the clothes
and the car, and the house you leave vacant all day so you can afford to live in it.

With reference to 'marketing ponces", I wholeheartedly agree. Why can't they leave things alone. Sports cars are NOT made from
Hexagonal Hollow Section tubing, neither should Smartie containers. Think I'll write to my MP.

Cochineal, nothing to do with old Volkswagens. Not the only surprise on the shopping list.

I went into the RSPCA office the other day. It was so small you could hardly swing a cat in there.

Originally yes.... it's synthetic now... marketing forces eh?
I voted for the Hexagonal box... if the boffins at Nestlé have fallen for the marketing scam then fair play to them. They don't have a good
record though. For those that have children, do you remember the "Coco-pops" debarcle - they changed the name to
"Choco-Crispies". It lasted approximately 6 months then when sales when down (not up) they changed the name back again.
If you feel that strongly about it, boycott Nestlé products and perhaps they won't make enough money to run another wasteful marketing campaign.
However, with products like Nescafé as well as the above mentioned you'll find your shopping list rather bare.

I'm near enough 100% sure they still use it, definately until November just passed, the Nestle vegetarian product guide still excludes smarties
indicating they are still using E120 (Cochineal) for the red dye (Not that i'm a vegetarian )
Sheeps eyeball's anyone........

Mr JGG - you took the words right out of my mouth. This of course is the very essence of why the basic shape of the se7en has so much appeal.
