SolidWorks install problem !?!

I'm trying to install Solidworks 2005 on my new laptop and i'm not able to complete the install. Seems to miss Helpfiles0.cab as the install says.... My CD got damaged (scratched) by the kids. anyone has a solution for me?? or the file for me...

Send kids off too boarding school

You might beable to find solidworks on a "warez" site and download a "copy"
Seeing as you already bought the propram its not so bad

Kids send already

Warez i tried this solution this week to no avail...most are incomplete. that's why i'm asking help here. the other solution whould be to ask for a new CD as the one i have is damaged but i dunno if it's going to work!

Depends how bad the scratch is...but try copying it with error correction, option usually available in the advanced copying properties in most good copying software.(nero is quite good at it)

Alternatively buy something like Disc Doctor from PC world. Just like a little lapping machine that re-polishes the surface of the disc (think they are about £20)

And, you can use it for all the other scratched cds you've got.

Ok ! i try to copy it with correction not working.
Repair it not sure...it pretty much damage..

If someone has the missing files i think i can redo one...

The missing file is on the first CD in swwi folder ,subfolder data it is HelpFiles0.cab

I tried the repair kit today worked on most of my scratched CD's but not on my solidworks one

Hi there

It's on Disc 2 on my CDs! Try putting that in when it's looking for it. Otherwise I may be able to help. It's not exactly emailable at 100mb though. Could post you a cd maybe.
