Yes, I heard that bit too. Certainly if he got a jail term he would have died, that is without doubt.
I have no view on the innocent or guilty bit, I don't have the facts so I don't know and can't comment.
What I am very sceptical about is the US justice system.
To mirror comments above, I am also concerned at the "must be guilty cos he's weird" approach. There are a lot of weird people in
the world, and different people have different standards of the norm. What is lawful is simply the concensus of the public, we must not forget that.

Interesting comment from one of the jurors after the trial - he did believe that Jacko had molested boys, but there wasn't enough solid evidence
presented to convict him.
Maybe they need the Scottish legal system, where there's a choice of 'guilty', 'not guilty', or 'not proven'
- in other words, go away and get some better evidence.

Reason why the jury cleared him of all charges was simple even if Jackson was convicted on the lesser charges and got probation, jury members would
have had the threat of nutter fans of Jackson dogging them for the rest of thier lives. However how he got away without facing contempt of court
charges is a total mystery.
American justice like a american medicine is the best money can buy -- if you are poor you stand no chance.
As it is I predict Jackson will be in the nut house or dead within 2 years -- either suicide, anorexia, accidental drug overdose or assassinated by
a bible loving gun totting neo Nazi gun nut.

The OJ case fell because of one rotten cop. Sadly we have some of those over here as well, very few Scots would now dare to walk down a lane in
london carrying a table leg !
On the glove evidence in the OJ case I have an open mind, while it is likely to have been planted it equally well could have been tampered with while
in storage.

or even point it, bagged, at a pair of firearms officers. Whats the world coming to, i ask? Its not like he was asking for trouble...
As i see it, if i find myself looking down the barrels of police guns, the last thing i would do is point anything at them.

but that isnt illegal.
is it.... just very weird.
so if thats all they had, he didnt commit a crime.
I think the idea that jurors can talk about the case afterwards is nuts. they can make money out of giving the most contoversial verdict.

Agreed! They found him not guilty so they shouldn't be allowed to go on international TV and say otherwise, that's out of order as far as
I'm concerned.
For Jacko the effects of this will be almost as bad as a guilty verdict. The guy will probably top himself before long, he's just not
emotionally equipped to deal with this.
I think he's a great talent, a total weirdo but not a paedophile, I'm convinced of that. If we can't believe in the justice system
then what hope is there? It's not perfect but it's the best we've got.
Cheers

If i was a juror i wouldnt dare go public about it. Surely they are risking a legal battle with Jacksons team.
