be bad.

Hope that isn,t the Rover own warranty and service deal cos it isn,t worth a the paper its written on. But i must admit there are some great bargains
to be had on nearly new and new Rovers.My son works for a Ford and Rover dealer and they are selling new cars at half price.
Very tempting.....

isnt the 1.8 the exploding K series derivative, same as used in the freelander, that blows head gaskets?
Still, sounds a good deal!
You can always buy an independent warranty.....

1.8 - yes it is... this is a major contributor to Rover's final downfall - purely due to the litigation and constant denial by Rover that there
was a problem. Still, nice to know the directors are financially secure!
Dare say you can buy an independant warranty for a princley sum

Only difference bewteen a 1.6 and 1.8 engine k series is the crankshaft, pistons, conrods and flywheel, clutch and throttlebody -- all the rest
cylinder block, cylinder head cylinder liners and gaskets are exactly the same parts.

I had a Rover 75 1.8 club for 3 years (from new) and it was superb, very comfy and not too slow considering the engine and size of car (and driver
)
The only thing i was unhappy with was the paint as it scratch very easily. Apart from that it was top.
Enjoy your BMW yes you will see BMW stamped all over the place
