Rammstien at NEC on Friday, worst seats in the house until I saw the red flashing light and realised we were near the controled area for the big pyros....

OMG they were big explosions

Saw meatloaf at Isle of Man a few years back and gotta say he was crap

You want guitarists?.......listen to Tony Iommi and Geeza Butler from Sabbath........nobody comes close not even the weird Richie Blackmore and certainly not the pounce in a big wig from Queen.

Paul Gilbert is doing a guitar clinic in Letchworth on August 18th. Limited tickets available from Machine Head Music in Hitchin 01462 433305.
If anyone on here manages to get tickets, I'll see you there!
Also Steve Vai is over here in October.
Cheers
Jon

Paul Gilbert is doing a guitar clinic.

I'll take mine then, it sounds a bit sick .
My mate Mick (lifelong Maltloaf fan) went to see him at Chatsworth and was disappointed. He said the backup band was better than him. I like Chris Rea and Ry Cooder music at the moment. Accoustics I like Gordon Giltrap and Pierre Bensusan, proper guitar.mp3 samples

yours, Pete

I went into the RSPCA office the other day. It was so small you could hardly swing a cat in there.

I know what you mean, I saw them in Manchester a month or two back and they were amazing. Get goosebumps thinking about it now.

Btw, have you seen that there are live tracks from the tour for download on the Queen website. Let me know if you need it and I will dig out a URL for you
