An aircraft is mostly hollow space.
When an aircraft hit's a building, a lot of it disintegrates, because it's just skin around hollow space. The big pieces of the wreckage
are past the 2/nd and 3rd interior walls, but they are not that big.
Normally, the only solid pieces that survive a high speed, hard impact aircraft crash are the ones that are dense. Like hydrualic rams from the
landing gear. Look on the net for more pentagon pictures, and these pieces are very easy to pick out among the wreckage.

I can't watch the link as my home internet is down and i'd better not watch it at work, but as the above comments, in even relatively
"soft" impacts, the average piece size recovered in an air crash of any magnitude is extremely small.
In a collision of the magnitude of 9/11, the fragments would be miniscule!

i see the point about the parts disappeared but what about the size of the whole it made not really on the scale of the plane

That looks stinky to me!
It's simply impossible that a plane the size of a Boeing will be defragmentated almost completely.
Hundreds and hundreds of square yards of high strength aluminium skin,bulkheads,tubing,frames etc all gone up in flames?
Compare the damage from the Twin Towers to the Pentagon.

so what happened? they heard about the WTC collapsing and quickly scrambled a missle to make it look like more of an attrocity?

Anyone else see the pics of the 'missile' flying in ?? I don't beleive it was deliberate, but it could have been a miss fire or a
stray !!

I thought the general opinion was that they shot the plane down to save it being deliberately flown into a civilian target and staged this hoax to
provide the explanation for its dissappearance so as not to have to admit to americans shooting down other americans.
But how you could shoot a plane down without anyone noticing and there being no debris from that would be quite hard to cover up in itself. Then have
to organise this event aswell in next to no time.

we have had this crap on here before.
There was a thing on discovery wings about a plane that hit the sea at 500mph after a cockpit fire. the plane was smashed into a million bits, most
being a couple square inches each.
slam a plane into a building at 500mph, make a big bang and a huge fire. what little bits ar eleft are likely to melt in the inferno, being alu alloy
in the main.
no one saw them dig any bits of the planes out of ground zero - so obviously the footage of a plane crashing into the towers was faked too?

Yeah but at ground zero they found whole engines and undercarriage parts, pantagon, nothing other than a medium sized whole in the building frontage
as seen in the early photo's it was after 20 mins or so that the whole frontage fell in causing the devastation scenes.
Mind you, does it really matter how it happened, it has happened, so nothing now can change the fact

The sky scraper was glass front, with metal beams. The pentagon was who knows how many foot thick, reinforced concrete. They react differently to
impacts.
If you look at the link I originally posted, you can clearly see undercarriage parts at the pentagon, and tires, and luggage, and lots of other things
from the plane.
Agreed though, either way, very sad, but can't be changed.

Aluminium skin is by no means "high strength". A rivit gun goes through one quite easily, so imagine what a reinforced concrete wall at
500mph would do.
