t**ts! I hate that! Politely ask for the phone numbers of any future potential 'viewers', that way if they decide not to bother coming,
you can ring them up and embarass them. If they are not happy about giving you a number you can safely assume they are wasters who must be removed
from the earth.

Don't you think that exterminating them might be a little bit over the top?
I know what you mean though, very frustrating

I always pin them down to a time and make them 'phone as they leave their house. If they're late or there's no 'phone call I
make it plain I won't be around!

When i was selling my car it happened about 20 f"@@ing times. People seemed to be ringing for a chat. In the end i asked for a contact number
and anyone wanting a test drive must have proof of funds. Sad i know but there are some strange people out there.

A mate of mines had this when he went to buy a car. He said he'd take it and left a deposit after agreeing a lower price ( and a gentlemans hand
shake). Went to collect it the following night with the balance in cash and they'd sold it for a higher price and gave him his deposit
back Now this guy is the customer from hell and the air was blue but the car was gone and that was that NOT
He phoned them at all times day and night for a month. Just let the phone ring until it was answered and hung up. Anytime from midnight to 6 am when
he neede the toilet he dialled
I suppose thats the other side of this thread covered

I went to buy a westfield in rotheram about a year ago. I left the deposit and said I would be back the next day to collect. The guy phoned me up
when i was half way home and said he had sold it to someone else from Lincoln. I got my money back, but was proper pissed ....TWAT!

Always get a reciept for your deposit stating that the seller has accepted your offer and that full payment must be made by an agreed time/date . If
the seller then accepts a higher offer you then have some sort of legal proof he accepted your deposit and you have the right to sue . Not always what
you want but better than letting them get away with it ..
