4x4 Tyre Advice
Its time for new tyres.........so
Can anyone recommend a good place to buy 4x4 tyres?
At the moment its running cooper discoverer radial AST's
Size: 31 x 10.50R 15LT
Now i've never seen tyres with that sort of size code on.
So any advice on what make to get and where from ????
Thanks

i buy all my normal tyres second hand, £15 a corner. Sometimes nice makes, sometimes crap, but usually half tread, so certainly cheap! Big tyres do
tend to have unusal nomclemature (big words ), but any decent tyre shop will know what to replace them with.

I used to buy 2nd hand tyres, but with the mileage i do I was constantly replacing them, and at £30 a corner (couldn't get it cheaper in my
area) it wasn't worth it anymore.
was hoping to find some online tbh

I get most of my stuff from Nene 4x4 Nr Kettering, advertise in the mags, good deals and good prices. Will deliver to your door.
My Landy is 16" rims that limits the choice. However you have 15" rims, and that opens up a HUGE choice. those figures are correct.. its
the silly American sizing... However your choice is huge!... almost any width, and any rolling radius.
ie Wide and Tall tyres to thin and low, and everything in between.
I know a lot of landy Types that change to 15" rims just to get the wide choice of tyres. Also they are generally cheaper than 16" as
there are more about!
Dont knock it mate!
PS... Mine are £90 a corner!
