Alan - if you didnt see corrie for the last 7 - 8 years, you wouldnt know Maxine - but she got murdered today.

Sadly, I do miss the street ..there really is nothing like it here...

To americans actually understand eastenders?
Is it on a channel that only 3 people watch?
I think its somehow sad that the favourite TV programmes here are corrie, eastenders, and the biggest selling newspaper is the sun.

Eastenders is on BBC America along with Ground force (OK), Changing rooms (OK), Coupling (Excellent), House Invaders(?), Waking the dead
(good)....etc, etc.
I don't how many viewers though, but there are a lot of Brits here.....
On an different topic.....
We went out for breakfast yesterday and there was a nice Ginetta G20 in car park...turns out the owner is the Florida distributor..and ex. Lola works
driver....

I haven't watched any soaps for about 30 years and I think they are responsible for the moral decline in the world today. Most of the terrorist
activity in the world is a direct result of Corrie and Crossroads in the seventies. The taleban only made women cover up because they think they all
turn into Ena Sharples eventually and wouldn't you want to destroy the evil menace that created stuff like Dallas.
Besides I was so upset when Minnie Cauldwell's cat died that I gave up on life and started watching cookery programmes.
