Audi A6 sump removal
Anyone can give me a clue on how to remove the sump on an a6 1.8T?? I am fitting a new oil pump or at least trying to
I have removed every bolt and screw but the thing wont come off. After a couple of gentle whacks with the mallett it has loosened but it feels as
though there might be a bolt left but i am damned if i can find it
Any help would be appreciated.

does it use a gasket or sealant?if its sealant it could be stuck for days/weeks

have you removed the bolt that are tucked up behide the flywheel i think they are 6mm allen bolts you can just see them through the cut outs

if all the bolts are out,try some mig wire or similar to cut through the sealant,it really does stick

Thanks, yes I found the bolts they are bloody well hidden. Good job i didnt smack the sump too hard!!!
