Hilarious scam...
As some of you may know I've got my car advertised on a few websites at the moment. I've been innundated with the usual scam emails asking
very general questions that could apply to anything, but this is the best one so far:
quote:
Hello,
I was just going though the Classified ads and i then came accross
the advert concerning your -------------- ,am very much
interested in purchasing. So kindly let me know the features, condition
as well as the price you are willing to sell. Kindly get back to me ASAP
Regards
Whoops! Did somebody forget to copy and paste the advert details before they sent it? They obviously realised after they'd sent it because I got
another one a few seconds later with the details pasted in. Nice try, but no cigar...

Just emailed back the following to their email address (loiuse_corbertt@yahoo.com)
quote:
Hi, thanks for your email. Unfortunately you forgot to paste in the advert details before you sent out your extremely vague questions, thus making it
extremely obvious that you are in fact a scammer. In future you should be more careful. On the other hand you could always try getting a job and
finding a legal way to make money.
PS you've mis-spelt Louise in your email address, and Corbertt isn't a very convincing surname either, perhaps you should try Corbett (no
second 'r' you see?)
Let's see if I get a response...
