caterham 5th worst value car

taken from todays sun

A TOP ten of the worst value cars ever made includes luxury models from Porsche, Jaguar and Rolls Royce.

Troubled MG Rover has THREE entries in the list of over-priced, unreliable or poor resale motors.

Car giant Ford was top of the flops with its Racing Puma which failed to justify its £23,000 price.

Second worst is the limited edition Jaguar XJ220 at £400,000.
The much-criticised Porsche 914 is third.

Rover was fourth with the £17,000 416, sixth with the Indian-built City Rover and eighth with the £83,000 MG SV-R. The £36,000 Caterham R500 Evolution is fifth and Isuzu Piazza seventh.

Rolls Royce’s 1975 Camargue is ninth and Vauxhall’s Tigra Diesel tenth in the list compiled by Test Drive magazine.

Editor James Mills warned: “Without sound advice, new and used car buyers could end up sinking their money into a genuine howler.”

Troubled MG Rover.

Think you're somewhat out of touch with reality matey.

They went bust in April cos people were under the misguided impression that they weren't very good, despite the fact that the MG F was the best selling convertible and the ZR the best selling hot hatch.

I don't think anybody is stupid enough to buy a fun car with the idea that it's going to be value.

If you put a price on making you enjoy yourself I think the results would look a little different.

If we all worked on value alone we would all drive Toyota avensis' or alternative dull uninspiring crap.
